12. Seven Mile Bridge, Florida
The magnificent Seven Mile Bridge in Florida offers absolutely incredible views of both the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean. Spanning an impressive 6.79 miles (10.9 kilometers), it ranks among the longest bridges worldwide and serves as a crucial component of the scenic Overseas Highway.
Completed in 1982, the modern bridge replaced an earlier historic structure, portions of which still remain visible today. Extremely popular with photographers and nature enthusiasts, the bridge provides a completely unique vantage point for spotting playful dolphins, graceful sea turtles, and exotic birds. Due to its completely exposed position over open water, the bridge closes during severe storms to ensure maximum safety.
