20. Canopy Walk, Ghana

Ghana's magnificent Kakum National Park features the spectacular Canopy Walk, an intricate series of suspension bridges positioned 40 meters above the dense forest floor. Stretching an impressive 350 meters, the elevated walkway connects seven massive trees and offers an absolutely perfect spot to observe diverse wildlife.
Built in 1995, the innovative Canopy Walk receives careful design for both tourism and scientific research purposes. Visitors can spot exotic birds, colorful butterflies, and sometimes playful monkeys or majestic elephants. Early morning hours prove best for wildlife observation and spectacular sunrise views over the mysteriously misty forest.
