14. Get Clean Edges with Masking Tape
Getting clean, straight edges when applying caulk or sealant can be a real challenge, even for the most experienced. However, there is a simple trick that can help you achieve professional results: painter's tape (also known as masking tape). Before you begin, simply apply a strip of this masking tape to both sides of the area you want to seal, creating a defined channel. Then, apply and smooth the caulk or sealant within this space outlined by the tape. Once the material is partially dry, but still flexible, carefully remove the painter's tape in a firm, continuous motion. The result will be a perfect, straight edge with no overflow, as if it had been done by a professional. This technique not only facilitates the process,
