Australian pastor
The Australian Shepherd is another breed that needs a lot of exercise. Bred as guard dogs and disaster rescue dogs, these puppies need daily walks and runs or have the ability to develop behavioral problems. With small children to care for, the needs of this breed may be too much for parents with multiple babies. Australian Shepherds also tend to feel uncomfortable meeting new people, and with playdates a weekly test, this can be less than ideal.
Siberian Husky
Siberian Huskies are another breed known for their endless energy. Their strong personality and desire for affection will make them compete with children for attention. If you want a guard dog to protect your young, the Siberian Husky is not the breed for you. Since they were originally bred as sled dogs, they have no interest in protecting their home. But, with the right training and a lot of patience, this breed can be the perfect family dog for you and yours.
