The Tosa Inu, or Japanese Mastiff, is a Japanese fighting dog that can weigh up to 200 pounds and pull far heavier loads. Their powerful bodies and jaws can pull up to 3,000 pounds. With training, they can be gentle and calm, but their presence is intimidating. The breed is banned in some countries due to its fighting history, though not every Tosa is dangerous.
