8. Doberman Pinscher

The Doberman Pinscher, or Dobermann, was first recognized in 1890 by German tax collector Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann. Dobermans are sensitive, affectionate, and caring toward children they grow up with. These pets are strong and lively, making excellent family guardians. However, their high energy and protective instincts can sometimes pose problems. In protection mode, a Doberman may become restless, aggressive, and dangerous. They need training, socialization, and exercise to channel energy properly.
