Illusions reveal much about our personalities and how our minds interpret reality. An illusion deceives our senses, making us perceive things differently than they are. The word "illusion" comes from the Latin "illudere," meaning "to mock." Some illusions are obvious, while others demand keen observation. Optical illusions shape how our brains process images and are often linked to personality traits. At first glance, you might notice an arched doorway and the face of an elderly man. His bald head and beard dominate the scene, making them the most prominent features. Yet this image hides nine faces. Many miss them initially, but sharp-eyed viewers can spot all nine.
