Waking up one morning, Sophie discovered that her mother was still sleeping. To her, this was unusual because her mother always woke up before her. And when Sophie tried to wake up her mother, nothing worked. As the hours passed and her mother was still asleep, Sophie began to worry. She called the only number she could remember… “911, what is her emergency?”
